Michael Walker, first assistant district attorney in the 106th Judicial District, began work in that position on Jan. 2 and is new to the area.
“It’s been a really warm welcome. Everybody we’ve met is very nice. It’s excellent,” Walker said.
Walker is originally from Dexter, a small town in Missouri. He said his “final straw” before leaving Missouri was an 18-inch overnight snowfall.
