Eight-year-old Lilly Assaf paints Campbell soup cans, a design made famous by Andy Warhol, during an art session Wednesday afternoon at the Dawson County Public Library. The library hosted daily art activities Monday through Thursday. Artists’ artwork is being displayed today from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m.
BPA students win awards, scholarship at state
Lamesa High School Business Professionals of America (BPA) students earned titles with one winning a college scholarship after attending a State Leadership Conference in Corpus Christi Feb. 28- March 2.

Organizers of the Feed One Food Bank hosted by First Baptist Church in Lamesa have announced that this month’s food distribution is being moved to March 19.
