Adam Wright, local branch manager of First United Bank, and employees of the bank took some time last week to do volunteer work at the Lamesa Boys and Girls Club. Tammy Wyatt, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club, said Wright and his team mowed the grass and trimmed the hedges, “making them look so nice.” Another group (pictured) also worked inside the Boys and Girls Club building and painted two classrooms upstairs that desperately needed it, Wyatt said. ...
