A Waterfest that was suppose to kick off Dawson County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club (SRC) with outdoor activities was canceled due to Thursday’s flooding.A storm dumped 3.5 inches of rainfall on Lamesa while other parts of Dawson County received as much as seven inches.Weather reports predict more rain through this weekend.“I don’t know what’s going to happen with the weather,” said Library Director Angie Martinez about the cancelation. “The weather is unpredictable.”The Waterfest had been scheduled for 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday at Forrest Park.The activities were changed and relocated indoors to Movieland Theatre starting at 2 p.m.,
