A Dawson County teenager’s long association with the FFA program paid off again when she recently received two awards.Sagen Oaks received the Lone Star FFA Degree July 12. The honor is the highest degree students can earn in the FFA. She received the award during the 95th annual state convention held July 10-14 in Dallas.To qualify for the Lone Star award, students must participate in FFA activities, fill out an application and give details of their agricultural experiences.The experience part was easy.
