Young ladies will be allowed to register for the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant later than originally planned, according to an announcement this past week by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. Junior and senior high school girls in Dawson County now may continue signing up for the event through this coming Wednesday. The Chamber has chosen to extend the registration period due to closures of organizations in the area throughout the week of Thanksgiving.
