Girls from newborn to age 18 have until Monday to sign up to compete in the annual Miss Merry Christmas Pageant.The pageant will be held at two different times Dec. 17 in the Lamesa High School Auditorium.The pageant for younger contestants will start at 9 a.m. while older contestants will be judged starting at 5 p.m.The top prize is a $1,000 Howard College scholarship for the winner of the Miss Merry Christmas title.Contestants will compete for titles and crowns in six categories: Baby Snowflake, Poinsettia Princess, Miss Gingerbread, Miss Sugarplum, Miss Mistletoe, and the coveted title of Miss Merry Christmas.The ...
