Lamesa High School’s culinary arts students recently competed in the High School BBQ Association Competition. The team was created by culinary arts teacher Kevin Pedroza. The culinary arts team at LHS placed sixth for dessert, 10th for steak, and 15th overall in the competition. Eighteen teams competed at the event and the top 10 will advance to state.
