The Lamesa Community Players are currently in rehearsals for their next production, “Cocktails with Mimi.”The play was written by Mary Chase, a well-known playwright of the play, “Harvey.”The play takes place during a cocktail party in the home of Mimi Ralston, a wealthy divorcee. Mimi devises a scheme to sabotage her daughter’s engagement during the party, while the daughter herself has a secret scheme of her own.
