Organizers of the local Juneteenth celebrations have announced the winners of its many activities and contests.Juneteeth festivities were held over a three-day period June 16-18. The celebrations activities included a pageant, talent show, a basketball tournament, a fashion show and a music festival.Organizers recognized and honored eight recent high school graduates with Black Excellence Awards. The awards were bestowed to Keeton Bolton, Andrinna Castillo, Chloe Crittendon, Brianna Hunter, Dinah Lawshea, Tristan Maxwell, Zaakiyah Walee and Sean Zapata.In the basketball tournament, the three-on-three team of Jaleel Edwards, Jahlahni Edwards and Buddy Williams; and the five-on-five team of Derek Guajardo, Isaiah Martinez,
