Doyle and Linda Fancher are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married on December 2, 1953 in Carlsbad, New Mexico after eloping.They currently reside in Lamesa. They have four children: Steven Frank Fancher (deceased), Cassandra (Soni) McClarney (deceased), Jacquelyn (Jackie) Williams of Horseshoe Bay, Tx, and Debra (Debbie) Conatser of Lamesa.They have nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.After marrying, Doyle and Linda moved to Levelland, Tx in 1956 from Lubbock where Doyle went to work for Gordon Cobb ranching and farming.
