Christmas-related activities are continuing at various churches in Lamesa as they prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. First United Methodist First United Methodist Church is celebrating Advent each week, in its 10 a.m. worship service, by lighting Advent candles every Sunday until Christmas arrives, according to Pastor Scott Seymour.
