Lamesa Rotary Club members Bryan Nowlin and Carter Schildknecht presented Lamesa High School’s 2023 valedictorian Justin Peterson (center) with the Bob and Avis Wilton Rotary scholarship Wednesday. The $1,000 scholarship is renewable annually for four years. Peterson plans to attend Texas Tech University to major in civil engineering. Lamesa High School graduation is starts at 8 p.m. May 19 at Golden Tornado Stadium.
