Construction of a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) station on the Medical Arts Hospital campus could begin sometime in mid-January with a ground breaking. It is expected to be completed by December of next year.

In its 21st year, the community service project provides repaired bicycles for children in Gaines County for Christmas.
