Blowing out District 6A champion Lorenzo, 86-62, Friday night at Tahoka, Klondike’s boys are now heading on to the third round of the Class 1A basketball playoffs.
With four starters back from last year’s playoff team, expectations were high for the Lamesa High School boys basketball team coming into the 2021-2022 season.
After opening the season this past Tuesday night at Crane with a 13-3 win over the Golden Cranes, the relatively young Golden Tornadoes experienced some growing pains in the Shallowater Railyard Classic.
