Candelaria Arce

    Funeral services for Candelaria “Candy” Arce, 87, of Boiling Spring, North Carolina, will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1009 Hearn St., Big Spring, Texas.  Burial will follow at Trinity Memorial Pari.
    Candelaria passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021 in Boiling Spring, North Carolina.
    She was born March 4, 1934 in Falfurrias, Texas.  She enjoyed traveling, crocheting and sewing blankets.  She enjoyed spending time with grandkids and great-grandkids.
    She is predeceased by her husband, Manuel Arce; parents, Salome Sr. and Caciana Gonzalez; two brothers, Adalberto Gonzalez and Salome Gonzalez Jr.; three sisters, Luzgardo Gonzalez, Hilda Florez and Minerva Gonzalez; son-in-law Ronnie Smith; granddaughter Jackie Nicole Harvell.
    Candy leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Alex Arce and wife Liz of King City, CA; two daughters, Carmen Arismendez and husband Blas of Lamesa, TX and Diana Smith of Boiling Spring, NC; six grandkids, Chris Arismendez and wife Gina, Michael Arismendez and wife Julie, Amanda Harvell, Sarah Fandrei and husband Eric, Rebecca Leadbetter and husband Ryan, Mary Hyland and husband Nathanial; 14 great-grandkids, Justin, Christopher, Joshua and Malia Arismendez, Megan, Stephen and Izabella Arismendez, Aden Salazar, Echo Robertson, Kade and Chase Fandrei, Jack, Emmett and Owen Leadbetter.
