Editor,The way that the school board made the decision to name the new gym is a concern and a disappointment. Although I had presented the name “Golden TornadoGym,” I want to be clear that this is not a reflection in any way on those whose names were chosen, but is specifically on the manner in which it was done during December 11th school board meeting.As the final item of his Superintendent’s Report, Mr. Ritchey presented his recommendation for the naming of the gym.
