I kind of have mixed feelings about Valentine’s Day. In my experience, it can be a wonderful or terrible holiday whether you’re single or in a relationship. This holiday can feel more tied to consumerism than any other. Sure, businesses try to get you to buy stuff on all these holidays, but it feels more exploitative during Valentine’s Day, somehow.
