BROWNFIELD – A local woman took home the coveted Grand Champion Market Steer prize at Arizona National Livestock Show last month, and she owes it all to her family’s agriculture tradition.“It’s a lifestyle; you have to live and breath it,” said Ashton Floyd, 18, of Denver City. “To win a steer showing, you have to want it as much as you work for it.
