The Borden County Coyotes took their second step toward repeating as the District 4-A softball champs last Saturday at Colorado City where they topped Westbrook, 13-3.The score was tied at 2-all at the end of the first inning but after that it was all Borden County which scored four runs in the third inning, five more in the fourth and two in the fifth.Westbrook managed to score only one more run after that first inning in the third inning.Last Saturday’s game was stopped after five innings on the 10-run rule.“Westbook’s probably the second best team in our district on paper ...
