Century old house set for demolition

A three-story wooden home that’s been part of Lamesa’s landscape for over a century, once serving as a museum, is headed for demolition.The white house with orange trim at 304 Ave. M is beyond repair and too costly to renovate. Its roof and some of its walls have bowed in so much that even pulling out its antique wooden floors for re-use would be too dangerous.
