It’s an almost annual occurrence that when electricity providers request an increase in rates that they file first with the state. It’s up to their municipal customers to call for a halt to any proposed increases until city elected officials have the time to study the matter.

If you are an employee of LISD, a student or a parent, you see lots of changes at Lamesa ISD, whether it is new construction, remodeling, new equipment, along with lots of changes inside the school buildings. If you are a community member without children enrolled in our school you are probably seeing some of the same things, but may not really know what all is going on inside our buildings. I want to take this opportunity to educate on those items as much as I can.
