Beehive Homes of Lamesa staff members are bringing Independence Day celebrations straight to their residents.
Celebration of America’s 247th birthday on July 4 means there will be no banking, mail delivery or governmental work on Independence Day.
After nearly walking away from football at the start of his senior year at Klondike, Caden Barron now finds himself playing in elite company, “I’m glad that I went ahead and played one more year,” Barron said. “Playing again this season gave me a lot more memories, and I’m not finished yet.”

The Golden Tornado Booster Club will be meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Lamesa High School Cafeteria to prepare for the 2023-2024 school year.
