History is replete with renowned figures that rose from obscurity in eras of uncertainty to influence a nation or affect the world. This past weekend’s O.W. Follis Holiday Basketball Tournament was another success. The Golden Tornado girls’ hoop squad did its best to help with the entertainment.
With very little height on this year’s squad, the Golden Tors’ 6-foot-6 senior, Noah Garcia’s development, could end up playing a huge role to this season’s success.
Sands hosted its annual high school basketball tournament last weekend at Ackerly. The Mustang boys played some of their best basketball of the young season.
