By spiking the Loop Longhorns, 25-15, 25-8 and 25-15, the Klondike Cougars have won the District 2-1A volleyball championship for the third straight year with Katie Cruz as their head coach.
It’s not the Friday Night Lights but the Dawson Dragons continue hitting the gridiron out at Welch with an eye on the future.
By breezing past its first two district opponents, the Borden County Coyotes have now reached the midway point to the Division I District 7-1A six-man championship.
