TURF EXPANSION

Workers have been busy installing new artificial turf in the outfield area of both the baseball and softball fields at Lamesa High School’s Joe Spikes Complex. Artificial turf was installed in the infield area of both fields a couple of years ago. School Superintendent Jim Knight said the softball field is scheduled to be completed by Monday of next week, with work at the baseball field expected to be finished the following week. LPR photo
