Lamesa’s 13- to 15-year-old Babe Ruth baseball all-stars certainly didn’t have the start they had hoped for in this week’s district tournament here at Joe Spikes Field.Lamesa fell to Andrews, 20-5, in their first game Thursday night.Andrews had defeated Seminole, 14-9, on Wednesday night. Lamesa drew a bye in the opening round.“All of their boys play travel ball and all of their guys play together.
