For three quarters here Tuesday night the Golden Tor boys’ basketball squad held its own against state-ranked Lubbock Estacado. But it didn’t take the hot-shooting Matadors long to heat up. A big first quarter helped Estacado roll to a 72-50 win in District 3-4A hoop action.
