Lamesa’s junior high boys basketball squad split their four games here Monday evening against Brownfield in their final games before the Christmas break. The Golden Tornadoes’ eighth grade A team is now 3-1 after knocking off the Cubs, 41-36. The home team led 9-8 at the end of the first quarter and 23-13 halftime lead.
