If there’s was ever an occasion that a basketball team needed one of those “bounce back” games it was the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes going into Monday’s contest here against longtime rival Andrews. Coach Gregg Moreland’s hoopsters went out and got the victory, holding off the Mustangs, 67-52.
