A strong start didn’t hold up long enough for the Dawson Dragons boys basketball squad Tuesday at Welch. The Dragon boys are now 3-12 on the year and 0-3 in District 8-1A play after falling 69-29 to the Meadow Broncos. Dawson’s boys led 13-10 at the end of the first quarter but trailed 29-18 at the half. “Our guys started out this game playing pretty good.
