Seventeen athletes from three area schools are finishing up their seasons at the Class 1A State Track & Field Championships Saturday at Austin.That contingent features seven athletes from Borden County, six from Klondike and four from Sands.First up will be Borden County freshman Anslee Buchanan at 9 a.m. in the girls’ discus where her qualifying throw of 107 feet, two inches sits eighth among the state qualifiers.“Being a freshman there shouldn’t be as much pressure on Anslee.
