Kooper Shook is now hoping that he’ll have something else in common with his dad Wes when it comes to baseball besides the fact that they could both play a mean third base in high school. When both father and son earned their high school diplomas they did so with dreams of playing major college baseball. Now Kooper hopes taking a path similar to his dad’s will yield similar results. Wes, a 1988 graduate of Lamesa High School, started his college baseball career at Lubbock Christian University and then moved to New Mexico Junior College for a season before heading back to Lubbock.
