The Sands Mustangs will be hosting their annual regional qualifiers golf tournament this coming Wednesday at Rockwind Golf Course in Hobbs, N.M. “Anybody who qualified for regionals can play in this tournament. We’re pretty much open to all classifications,” Sands Coach Billy Grumbles said. This regional qualifiers’ tournament, now in it sixth year, will tee off at 10 a.m. Central Time. “We’ve usually been ending up with 60 to 65 golfers every year,” Grumbles said. ...
