The Sands Mustangs now have two state-ranked basketball teams and both of them came home with wins Tuesday from Garden City. The Mustang girls, 10th in this week’s Class 1A state poll, are now 18-2 on the year and 6-0 in District 8-1A after defeating the Bearkats, 49-35. The Mustangs were up 34-13 at the half. “This was a tough game.
