Sands’ girls basketball team bounced back from a district loss to Garden City last week with a 54-32 win over Borden County on Friday evening at Gail. The Lady ‘Stangs led by just three points, 10-7, after the first quarter but outscored Borden County 21-5 in the second period to take a 31-12 lead at halftime.
