Lamesa High School senior Bryan Quinteros Jr. is starting off the 2019 power-lifting season by hefting far more weight than he did last season. That is a pretty impressive accomplishment given the fact that he finished the 2019 season by placing second in the Texas State High School Powerlifting Championships. Quinteros turned in a personal best by lifting a total of 1,000 pounds at the Golden Tornadoes’ initial powerlifting meet last Saturday in Plainview.
