Dennis Page’s team shot a 28 on Wednesday evening to win the weekly golf scramble at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Others on the winning team were Ricky Webb, Tommy Staggs and Ronnie Payton. This week’s closest-to-the-pin winners were Brant Stewart on hole number two at four feet eight inches and Jared Chapman on hole number seven at four feet. Lamesa Municipal hosts a scramble every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The deadline is 6 p.m. Friday for golfers to get signed up for the annual Cotton Picker Tournament next Saturday and Sunday, June 26 and 27.
