The Sands Mustangs continued their gallop into the cross country season last Saturday at the Lubbock Meet at Mae Simmons Park. “This was the first time Sands has filled a full cross country squad in over 11 years in all six divisions,” Sands Coach Dustin Wall said. “We have some improving to do on all of our teams but we did some good things overall in this meet.” Led by two of their runners in the Top 20, the Mustangs placed fourth out of 18 varsity girls teams.
