The Sands Mustangs continued to enjoy being home on the hardwoods Tuesday night at Ackerly. Coach Billy Grumbles’ boys rolled to a 59-26 win over the Ira Bulldogs. “Our guys really played well tonight. We did a lot of good things,” Grumbles said. Bouncing back from Saturday’s 52-26 road loss at Class 2A Sundown. Now 6-2, the Mustangs jumped out to a 37-12 halftime lead and outscoring the Bulldogs, 22-15, in the final two quarters.
