One of the biggest last names Lamesa High School’s rich basketball tradition continues making a reputation for himself in the sport almost 40 years since he took his last shot for the Golden Tornadoes.Chris Mason, a 1985 Lamesa High School graduate, recently got his 500th career coaching victory in his 26th season as a head high school boys basketball coach.“I got my 500th win against (League City) Clear Brook High School.
