Lamesa’s boys basketball team heads into the Christmas break fresh off a win on the road at Kermit this past Friday afternoon. The Golden Tornadoes used strong outings in both the first and third quarters to defeat the Kermit Yellow Jackets, 67-56. Lamesa jumped out to a 17-8 lead in the first quarter but got outscored 19-16 in the second period.
