As long as the Golden Tornado basketball boys can continue to make as much progress the rest of this season as they have in the past couple of weeks, District 3-4A better watch out. The Golden Tors fell just short of playing in this weekend’s Littlefield Wildcat Tournament championship after dropping a 57-55 heartbreaker to the host team Friday night. Less than three weeks ago Littlefield beat Lamesa 59-39. The Wildcats are now 11-1 this season with their one defeat being by just one point to Levelland on Dec. 6.
