There probably couldn’t have been a more inopportune time for the Golden Tornado basketball boys to face the Lubbock Estacado Matadors than Friday night at the Hub City. These Matadors spent a great deal of this season ranked among Class 4A’s best, but after falling to Canyon and Hereford in their last two District 3-4A outings they’re not anywhere to be found in the Top 25.
