After dropping out of this week’s Class 1A’s Top 25, the Klondike Cougars proved Tuesday night at Cougar Gymnasium that they could play ball with one of the best teams in the state in 2A. Take away the first quarter Tuesday night and Klondike’s boys might very well have knocked off a Wink ball club which is ranked 20th in this week’s Class 2A poll.
