Just like their high school counterparts, Klondike’s boys and Borden County’s girls took top honors in the District 8-1A Junior High Track Meet last Thursday a Ackerly.Winning the 400-meter relay and getting second in both the 800-and 1,600-meter relays, Klondike’s boys finished the meet with 141 points. Borden County was second with 128.In addition to running on all three relays, Klondike’s Jared Quintanilla, Luke Smith and Cannon McGee won individual field events as well.
