Lamesa’s junior high boys basketball teams found the going tough in last weekend’s Andrews Tournament. The Golden Tor seventh graders opened that tournament by getting thumped by Shallowater, 52-26. Kaleb Ramos’s 14 points led all Lamesa scoring in that game. Jayvin Longoria had four, Isaiah Martinez and Jeremiah Garza had three each, and Sawyer Brown had two. Lamesa’s seventh graders lost their second game to Seminole, 46-27.
