Growing up, many of Joseph Hood’s high school football memories came from playing the Lamesa Golden Tornadoes. Hood recalls playing for the Littlefield Wildcats against the Golden Tornadoes’ 1999 state semi-final squad, which was only the second in Lamesa High School football history to go that far in the playoffs.
