The O’Donnell Eagles swept their District 7-1A basketball doubleheader Tuesday night at the Eagles’ Nest. A strong start helped lead the Eagle girls to a 65-22 victory over Wellman-Union. This game was never in doubt after O’Donnell jumped out to a 27-7 first-quarter lead. The Eagles, now 15-7 overall and 2-0 in 7-1A play, were up 39-11 at the half. “We’re just real proud of how our girls started out this game tonight.
