For the second time in the past three years the Crosbyton Chiefs have finished off the O’Donnell Eagles’ baseball season. In 2019 Crosbyton held off O’Donnell, 11-4, in a Class 1A bi-district meeting. After COVID-19 put a halt to the 2020 high school baseball season, Coach Justin Ramirez’s Eagles were hoping for a change of luck when they again faced the chiefs in bi-district action Friday evening at Lubbock Coronado. Unfortunately, history repeated itself as Crosbyton advances to the regional quarterfinals with a thrilling 6-5 victory over O’Donnell.
